Questions we get

Glad you asked

SceneCheck is a trust and reputation platform built by and for kink and play communities. After real interactions, both partners leave anonymous peer feedback that builds into a verifiable scene score over time. Think of it as a shared reputation layer that we’ve never had before.

Yes. We use phone-hash-based identity, which means we never store or display your phone number. You pick any display name you want, and a one-way hash is all that connects your account. All feedback is anonymous. We built it this way because privacy is non-negotiable.

Both people have to independently confirm an interaction before feedback opens up. No one-sided reviews. Scores also require at least three unique reviewers before they become visible, which makes gaming the system extremely difficult. There’s also a reflection window where you can revise your feedback before it finalizes.

We have a structured reporting system for boundary violations, consent violations, harassment, and more. Reports go to vetted community moderators who review them within 72 hours. Confirmed violations impact scene scores and can lead to suspension. The community governs the process.

Only people you interact with through SceneCheck. Your score isn’t publicly searchable, and it only appears after three unique reviewers have submitted feedback. You control your profile visibility.

Yes, completely free. We believe trust infrastructure should be accessible to everyone in the community. Safety is not something we’re willing to put behind a paywall.
